Getting Started

Q Do I need to create an account to use Achiever Board?

No. The Solo Board requires no account at all. Just go to Achiever Board Solo, enter a board name of your choice, and your board is ready. Your data is saved to the cloud automatically.

If you want to collaborate with a team, assign tasks to specific people, or get notifications, you'll need to create a free account for the Team Board.

Q Is Achiever Board really free?

Yes. The Solo Board is completely free with no limits on tasks, no ads, and no credit card required. The Team Board is free forever for workspaces with up to 2 users. Larger teams can upgrade to flat-rate paid plans starting at $15/month for up to 5 users — far cheaper than per-seat alternatives like Asana or Monday.com. All features are included on every plan; you only pay for additional seats.

Q What's the difference between the Solo Board and the Team Board?

The Solo Board is designed for one person. It requires no account — just a board name — and is the fastest way to get started. It's great for personal task tracking, freelance work, or any situation where you're the only one managing the tasks.

The Team Board adds multi-user accounts and a full suite of collaboration features: task assignment with instant notifications, comments with real-time reply threads, comment notifications on your tasks, 1-on-1 direct messages, a team announcement board with admin controls, personal activity and notification feed, date filters (Today, This Week, This Month), real-time sync across all devices, admin controls to add and remove members, and user-based task filtering. All features are included on every plan — flat team rate, not per person, and cancel anytime. Free for up to 2 users; paid plans from $15/month for larger teams.

Data & Storage

Q Where is my data stored?

All task data is stored securely in Google Firebase — a cloud database hosted on Google's infrastructure. Your data is not stored in your browser's local storage (though your board name is cached there as a convenience). This means your tasks are safe even if you clear your browser cache or switch devices.

Q I cleared my browser data and now my board is empty. Did I lose my tasks?

No — your tasks are safe. Clearing your browser data removes the cached board name, which is why the board appears empty. To get back in, simply go to Achiever Board Solo, enter your board name again, and all your tasks will load from the cloud.

Q Can I access my board from a different computer or phone?

Yes. Since your data is in the cloud, you can open your board from any browser on any device. For the Solo Board, just enter your board name. For the Team Board, log in with your account credentials.

Q How do I delete my data?

For the Solo Board, you can delete individual tasks using the delete button inside each task. For the Team Board, you can delete your account — and all associated data — from the Profile Settings screen inside the app. If you need help, contact us at contact@achieverboard.com.

Using the Board

Q How do I move a task from one column to another?

Click on the task card to open it, then use the status buttons at the top of the task detail panel to change its stage. Options are To Do, In Progress, and Done. The task card will move to the correct column automatically. Tasks past their due date are automatically moved to the Overdue column.

Q How do filters work?

There are two types of filters:

Priority filter — each column has a dropdown at the top that lets you show only High, Medium, or Low priority tasks in that column.

Date filter — the header has a date filter that applies across all columns, letting you narrow tasks to a time window like "Today", "This Week", "This Month", "Overdue", or a custom date range.

Click "Clear filter" in the filter bar to remove all active filters and see your full board.

Q Can I attach files to a task?

Yes. Open any task and look for the attachment section. You can upload image files or paste URLs as link attachments. Attachments are stored alongside the task and are accessible whenever you open it.

Q What happens to overdue tasks?

Tasks past their due date are automatically highlighted in red so they're easy to spot on the board. You can also use the Overdue option in the date filter to show only overdue tasks across all columns at once.

Privacy & Security

Q Is my board private?

For the Solo Board: your board is identified by the name you choose. Anyone who knows your exact board name can access it, so treat your board name like a password — don't share it publicly. We recommend using a board name that isn't easy to guess.

For the Team Board: your account is protected by a password. Only users you invite can access your workspace.

Q Does Achiever Board sell my data?

No. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Task data is used solely to provide the service to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
